fixdpi.com lets you change the DPI (dots per inch) metadata on JPEG, PNG, BMP, and TIFF files and download the result. Conversion runs entirely in your browser with client-side code. There is no server-side image pipeline and no file upload API for your images.

When you drop or select a file, it is read and processed locally in your browser. Image bytes are not sent to our servers for conversion, storage, or review. The converted file is generated on your device and downloaded from there. Closing the tab clears that in-browser work; we do not keep a copy.

fixdpi does not offer user accounts, sign-in, or cloud libraries. You do not need to register to use the converter.

We do not load third-party analytics, advertising, or social pixels on this site. The footer claim “no tracking scripts” means we are not embedding trackers that follow you across the web for ads or behavioral profiles.

Like any website, our host (for example the CDN or hosting provider) may see standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent, and which URLs were requested, used for delivery, security, and reliability—not for selling profiles or retargeting.
